Dr. Powell graduated from Syracuse University (BA in biochemistry), Boston College (MA in psychology) & the University of Mass at Amherst (Ed.D in human development. Her extensive travels, work experience and fluency in several languages have given her a unique perspective. While teaching at universities she wrote “Educational Psychology of the Self” and other academic books on educational psychology and literacy. Her mantra is to live with passion and purpose.
