Your basic Chick-Pea makes a delicious nutty sprout. A great snack on its own or as an ingredient in numerous recipes (Sprouted, Hummus is a favorite). Originating from the Middle East, Garbanzo beans have long been valued for their fiber, and are consumed by some daily! Garbanzo beans are a great source of protein and energy. They are also beneficial in that they balance your blood sugar and help to lower blood cholesterol. Garbanzo beans are huge supporters of digestive health as well; specifically colon health.
Shelf Life: 5 years in cool, dry, dark environment (55° – 70°F)
Growing Cycle: Soak 1/2 cup- 8 hours / Drain, rinse, drain / Rinse- 3 days (double rinse- 2x per day) / Maturity Time- 3 days
Production: 1 10 x 10 tray with 1/2 cup seeds yields 1 cup of Garbanzo beans
